Cuffing Season

It's that time of year guys. No I'm not talking about Halloween time or Thanksgiving time, I'm talking about cuffing season. Here's HOW TO get a boo so you can stop simping at night:

1) Don't get cocky.
  • Fun fact...at this exact moment, there's approximately 7.6 billion people on this planet. Of those 7.6 billion, approximately 3.8 billion of them are females and 3.9 are males. So if you truly think for whatever reason that you're so special and irreplaceable, then you've obviously lost your mind. Multi Grammy Award winning artist Beyonce once said "Don't you ever for a second get to thinking you're irreplaceable". In other words, don't let your ego get ahead of you.

2) Show that you care.
  • If you start catching feelings for someone, let them know that you care about them. Everyone is different so there are different ways you can do this. First you have to find out their interests and engage in them as well. 
  • If she/he is in a sport or club, show some support. Ladies, go to his basketball games or football games or track meets. And guys, don't be afraid to show up at her softball games or volley ball games or cheer competitions. I know it seems so simple but trust me it has a major impact.

  • Learn their favorite color, holiday, birthday, movies, etc. Find out what kind of music she likes. Become an expert in her genre of music and if possible put her on to new music as well.
  • The more you know about this person, the easier it will be to talk to them and hang out with them.
3) Be bold.
  • Ok people listen up because this right here is important. Be up front about what you want. Don't lag and make the person lose interest in you. If you like the person then just ask her out. And don't be so shy about it either. 
  • DON'T BE LIKE SPONGEBOB AND PATRICK!!!!!!

  •  Take initiative and actually PLAN out a date. It doesn't have to be anything fancy. Just something where the two of you can have fun. 
  • Who ever said a date can't be something as simple as going to Yogurtland, or watching Netflix, or eating Chick-fil-a in the car...you catch my drift? Be CREATIVE.

4) Don't play games.
  • Now that your finally with this person, all you have to do is give them your undivided attention. This doesn't mean you can't hang out with your other friends, but it does mean no more flirting with others of trying to act like a player. Don't give reason not to trust each other.

  • Follow these guidelines and you will be cuffed in no time guaranteed! Happy hunting.
